Important: one Alpaca account per strategy

TradingStocks.ai uses a one-to-one relationship between strategies and Alpaca accounts. Each strategy you run requires its own dedicated Alpaca account — you cannot share one account across multiple strategies. If you want to run two strategies at the same time, you will need two separate Alpaca accounts.

Alpaca is a separate account

You will need to create your own Alpaca account before connecting to TradingStocks.ai. This is a separate sign-up process at Alpaca — they hold your funds and execute your trades. TradingStocks.ai never touches your money.

How to connect Alpaca

Create an Alpaca account

Sign up at alpaca.markets. Start with a Paper account to practise risk-free, no real money involved. Remember: you need one account per strategy.

Get your API keys

In your Alpaca dashboard, go to Paper Trading → API Keys and generate a key pair.

Paste them into Settings

In TradingStocks.ai, go to Settings and enter your Alpaca API Key and Secret under Alpaca Direct.

Pick a strategy and go

Browse strategies, subscribe to one, and your trades will execute automatically through Alpaca.
